Treatment of TMD symptoms is generally very conservative and completely reversible. However, we use FDA approved computer equipment to help diagnose and treat TMD to align the joints and muscles correctly. We usually reposition the jaw using orthotics or bite splints.
Some cases require therapy such as massage, physical or chiropractic care outside of the office.
