What to Expect on Your First Visit

When you first arrive at Dr. Goldstein's dental office you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists. You will be asked to fill out a health history form if you have not already received one in the mail. You will also receive our brochure describing our office philosophy and policies.

Your first visit is spent conducting a thorough examination, which includes:
• Complete review of your health history
• Dr. Goldstein will perform a clinical exam of the head and neck
• You will also be screened for oral cancer
• Your periodontal health will be evaluated
• All teeth and existing restorations will be checked for signs of decay
• Trans illumination of your teeth will be done to detect any cracks or fracture
• Impressions may be taken for study models

With the information that we gather during this examination we can develop a comprehensive treatment plan to meet your dental needs.

Dr. Goldstein will review what treatment, if any is needed, how long treatment should take to complete, fees and payment options available.
